The NC High Country is home to some of the most beautiful mountain properties in the Southeast — and Luna Vista Exterior Lighting exists to make sure those properties look just as stunning after dark as they do at sunset. We design and install luxury landscape lighting systems for homes and estates throughout Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis, Newland, and surrounding communities.
As a veteran and woman-owned, licensed and insured business, we bring the same professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to quality to every High Country project — whether it's a mountain cabin, a lakeside estate, or a full architectural lighting system for a luxury home.
What We Install
Highlight your mountain home's stone facades, timber frames, columns, and architectural details with precision-aimed uplighting that transforms your property's nighttime presence.
Illuminate specimen trees, native plantings, and garden beds with directional and down lighting that brings the High Country's natural beauty to life after dark.
Guide guests safely along mountain driveways and walkways with beautiful, functional pathway lighting — especially important in the High Country's challenging terrain and weather.
Smart app-controlled lighting with millions of colors — perfect for mountain entertaining, holiday seasons, and special occasions. Control everything from your phone.
Extend the use of your mountain deck, porch, or patio well into the evening with low-profile lighting designed to complement High Country architecture and outdoor living.
Monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual maintenance plans for new and existing systems — including cleaning, aiming, diagnostics, and smart system reprogramming.
Our Work
Why Luna Vista
Most landscape lighting companies treat every region the same. We don't. The NC High Country has its own unique challenges — mountain terrain, dramatic elevation changes, heavy seasonal weather, and architecture that ranges from rustic timber cabins to modern luxury estates.
We design every Boone-area system with these factors in mind — choosing fixture types, mounting positions, and beam angles that account for the High Country's specific conditions and make the most of its extraordinary natural landscape.
Coverage Area
We serve homeowners throughout the NC High Country and surrounding region.
