In-grade lights sit completely flush with the ground surface — installed directly into pavers, concrete, or soil so the fixture face is level with the surrounding material. Well lights are set slightly below grade in a protective housing. Both deliver powerful upward illumination from ground level with virtually no visible hardware above the surface.
This makes them the most architectural and unobtrusive lighting option available. They're ideal for uplighting columns, walls, and building facades from ground level, illuminating driveways and walkways from below, and creating dramatic accent lighting in hardscape and patio areas.
